Yes, I know you are all now looking at me with disbelief and sheer terror in your eyes. But you all know I love a good argument (not that there appears to be any of this is Australian politics these days). And I have to admit that the Australian political scene has provided me with much entertainment over the last 18 months or so. Therefore, I submit to you, my discerning victims … er … readers:
A few good things about politics:
- dramatic entertainment to rival anything produced in Summer Bay or Ramsey St
- election campaign spin off shows and Clarke and Dawe of the 730 report – legends.
- the opportunity to find out what is really wrong with and/or happening in our country – you carefully listen for what is NOT being said
- The wonderful person(s) who put up anti-labour signage of a very real and heartfelt nature along the Cargo Rd. You are a true hero and if I knew you I would shake you warmly by the hand. Thank you.
Seriously – I love politics.
